You keep 65% of the sales price
- Start by looking through your kids closets to find clothing and toys that are in great condition that they have outgrown
or just don't use anymore.
- Once you have decided which items to sell, start thinking of a fair value to price them. We recommend imagining
yourself as the buyer, think what you would pay for it if you were shopping. Name brand and boutique items in
excellent condition will usually sell for up to 40% of their retail value. Click here to see our pricing guide if you need a
little extra help.
- Make sure that the items are free from stains, tears, excessive fading.
- Iron each item, button any buttons, and zip any zippers. Presentation is everyting...the better it looks the more you will
get.
- Hang your items on hangers
- Now you are ready to tag your items. Click here to register with our sale. If you have already registered with our new
online system, click here to add items to your sellers account. All tags should be printed on white card stock paper.
- Log in to your sellers account and schedule your check in time. You may also want to consider registering as a
volunteer to get the earliest shopping times!
- Pay your $5 registration fee at drop off and now you are set! You will be able to view your sold items daily by logging
into your sellers account. Payment for items sold will be mailed to the address provided on your sellers account within
2 weeks of the conclusion of the sale. Please make note of the pick up times for your items that you do not want
donated.
- Come back and shop our consignor pre-sale. As a valued consignor, you shop before the public! This guarantees the
best selection for you!!
Make this a great sale...tell everyone you know!!
Either by email or by word of mouth. The more people that sell, the bigger the show. The more people that
buy, the more money our sellers make!! Some people you know may not be interested in selling now, but they
may love to shop. In this economy...who doesn't need to save money???
- Discount retail brands such as Faded Glory, Basic Editions, Kids Connection, Wonder Kids, etc
- Clothing that is excessively worn, wrinkled, stained, torn, missing buttons, or with broken zippers
- Toys that are missing pieces, broken, or dirty.
- Any item that smells like smoke or mildew
- Items that are the wrong season for the sale
Please note that any items submitted in the above condition will be denied at drop off, or if found after drop off
will be placed in a holding area to be picked up after the sale. They will not be placed on the sales floor. We
have been flexible in the past, but starting at the Spring 2009 these guidelines will be enforced. What makes One
Week Boutique successful is the quality of the clothing. By having a higher level of clothing, everyone has a
better show experience. Those shopping will know that they will not have to "dig" for the good stuff, and the
consignors will know that their clothes will be appreciated for their quality. It simply makes a better sale
experience for everyone involved!!
